Avowal 119 was born during a season of prayer, reflection, and rediscovering purpose.
Founder Melissa Pearson found herself thinking about the moments, Scriptures, and memories that shape our lives—and how often numbers become connected to them.
One day while working out, a phrase dropped into her spirit:
“In a world where you're just a number, let your number tell your story.”
That moment stayed with her.
We live in a world filled with numbers. Statistics. Dates. Measurements. Scores. Milestones. Performance. Pricing.
Somewhere along the way, numbers can lose their meaning.
But behind every number is a person. A place. A memory. A moment that mattered.
That realization became the foundation of Avowal 119.
What began as a personal reflection became a jewelry brand rooted in meaning, testimony, and human connection.

Human trafficking is an issue that demands more than awareness. Survivors also need access to opportunities, resources, and support as they rebuild their lives.
That's why our commitment extends beyond jewelry.
Avowal 119 stands alongside the Avowal 119 Foundation, a separate nonprofit organization focused on creating pathways toward sustainable independence for survivors of human trafficking.
Through vocational education, trade school scholarships, restorative care, and survivor-centered partnerships, the Foundation is working to help create opportunities for survivors to build what comes next.
Because freedom is more than escaping exploitation.
It's having the opportunity to build a future.

Survivor voices deserve more than a platform. They deserve to be valued.
Led by Tiffany Brearton, #UNMUTED is an independently operated initiative bringing together survivors, advocates, and community members to raise awareness and inspire action against human trafficking.
The Avowal 119 Foundation supports this mission by helping address survivor speaker honorariums and transportation expenses, subject to confirmed commitments and available funding.
Because when survivors choose to share their experiences, their time, expertise, and voices deserve to be honored.
Sharing a story should always be a choice, never an expectation.

Hi, I'm Melissa.
I never set out to create just another jewelry brand.
I wanted to create something that reminded people their stories matter. That the moments God carried them through, the places that shaped them, and the people who changed their lives were worth remembering.
What started as a phrase during a workout became something much bigger than I imagined.
And while I love creating meaningful jewelry, what matters most to me is what happens beyond the purchase.
The conversations. The connections. The opportunity to use a business to make room for restoration.
I believe purpose and profit don't have to compete. A business can be built with intention, operated with integrity, and used to serve something greater than itself.
